The Creation of a fused Glass Vessel is a labour of love.
Pre-fired colourbars of glass are created in the kilnforming process,
then cut with a diamond saw; and re-invested into a circle shape
with crushed and cut flat strips of glass.
A stainless steel mold ring is placed around the glass disc.
It will seperate the glass from the metal mold with a strip
of fiberblanket. Then the glass is fired to 1480 deg F to
make sure the panel is completely fused together.
A second firing process of slumping the glass into a mold is
done after the glass has annealed and cooled to room temp.
